If you’re planning a visit to the nursery, think about making a day of it! Miserden is a quintessential Cotswolds village and has been the location for a number of film and television productions, including the recent BBC One adaptation of Laurie Lee’s iconic memoir Cider with Rosie.
From April, you can visit the estate’s amazing gardens overlooking the Golden Valley. Known as Misarden Park Gardens, they have some beautiful borders to inspire your nursery purchases. Round off your visit with a drink or meal (or both!) at the village pub The Carpenters Arms which uses locally produced meat and fresh ingredients from its own kitchen garden.
